This was our first national park on our year long road trip and we loved it. The Ash River Visitors Center was quite small and had a small gift shop and theater. The rangers were very helpful and our kids really enjoyed the Jr. Ranger program.
We also really enjoyed walking down from the visitors center to the water which offered some beautiful and stunning views.
Took the Kettle Falls tour with Ranger Rob. Ranger Rob is the best ranger in this park! He gave wonderful insights, was great at spotting wildlife, and terrific historical information on our boat tour. Thanks for a day of bald eagle sightings and viewing the “landscapes” through many lenses!
Beautiful building, very friendly folks. Helped us get settled on our kayak trip to a remote campsite. Nice gifts and very cool educational room as well. Must visit when nearby!
This is a small visitor center located in the eastern portion of Voyageurs National Park. It is a old cabin that was converted into a visitor center. It was a great place to take shelter from a storm and had a friendly staff! There are flush bathrooms available and a bookstore. Definitely a good place to check out and stop for a rest before going out onto Kabetogama Lake!
Very nice rustic visitors center with informative employees. Nice trails are nearby and the trails are beautiful and give some great views of the lake area. Plenty of parking, along with boat launching areas. At the center there is a nice selection of National Park souvenirs, clothing and maps. The location next to the lake and cool rustic center make this a great visitor's center.
Small National Park visitors center for Voyageurs National Park, has all the regular amenities and a tiny park store. Rangers were nice and helpful, and there is a pretty view of the Kabetogama Lake behing the visitors center.
Super tiny visitors center that looks like a cabin.
There are a few small exhibits inside and a smaller store.
Park service volunteers inside were super friendly.
Plenty of parking for both cars and RVs
We spent an additional day at Voyageurs National Park because we wanted to visit this historic log cabin. It was very nice inside and they have a movie theatre room where you can watch 2 informational videos about the park. The rangers here were friendly and informative.
